Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy M17e, adding to the long list of midrange phones powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor.
The chipset on the Samsung Galaxy M17e is the same as that found on many OPPO, POCO, realme, and budget phones from other brands. Rightfully so, as it’s one of the cheapest processors you can get with 5G connectivity and decent performance.
This particular model comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.
On the front, we have a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate. There’s an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a 50-megapixel main shooter on the back paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
We also have a large 6,000mAh battery paired with a decent 25W wired charging.
And since it’s from Samsung, it will receive 6 years of software and security updates, on top of Android 16-based One UI 8.0 that it already ships with.
The Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G has a price of INR12,999 (~Php8,400) and INR14,499 (~Php9,300) for the 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB models, respectively.
