Hotel Sogo has officially entered the Play Store. The company officially released its first mobile booking app for Android phones.
The app is part of a new push called “SOGO ON THE GO.” Three company leaders showed up for the launch: Brand Head Johnny Co, Corporate Marketing Head Sue Geminiano, and Digital & IT Director Christian Estrellado.
What does the app do? It lets customers book a room from any of Hotel Sogo’s more than 50 locations across the country. The goal is to make the whole process faster. Instead of calling or walking in, users can now tap a few buttons on their phone to secure a stay.
Ms. Geminiano explained that the company is not changing what it stands for. Guests can still expect the same comfort, privacy, and friendly service. But now, those things come with less waiting time.
Hotel Sogo also has plans to improve the app in the future. The company wants to add a loyalty rewards system and a way to get personalized help directly through the app.
The message to the public was simple. The company told its longtime guests that the app was made for them. And to newer, tech-savvy travelers, it simply said, “Welcome to Sogo.”
The Hotel Sogo app is available now for Android devices on the Google Play Store. There is no release date yet for an iOS version.
