Xiaomi has released a new version of the Redmi Pad 2, now with a smaller display.
The new Redmi Pad 2 9.7, as the name suggests, has a 9.7-inch IPS display, which has a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For eye safety, it received a TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light, Flicker Free, and Circadian Friendly certification.

Powering the new Pad 2 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 processor, with 4GB of RAM, and an option between 64GB and 128GB of storage expandable up to 2TB. It runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3.
It has a 7,600mAh battery that lasts for more than 15 hours of online video playback or over 18 hours of audio playback.

The new Redmi Pad has an all-metal build that’s only 7.4mm and is available in Graphite Grey and Silver.
We also have a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera. It also has a face unlock and supports a dedicated cover case.

The Redmi Pad 2 9.7 4GB/64GB is now in Malaysia for MYR549 (~Php8,600), while the 4GB/128GB is at MYR599 (~Php9,300).
