Edifier has just released a new set of wireless earbuds called the FitBuds Turbo.
The earbuds have a short stem design and are very light. Each one weighs only 4.4 grams. They can survive light rain and dust thanks to an IP54 rating, so they work fine for walking around town or working out. The ear tips are made with antibacterial material, and Edifier says they stop 99.9 percent of bacteria.
The Edifier FitBuds Turbo charging case looks a bit different too. Instead of being shiny and smooth, it has a fake leather texture with metal-like highlights. That makes it less slippery. Buyers can pick from three colors: Dawn White, Mystery Blue, and Sakura Pink.
For sound, the Edifier FitBuds Turbo use 10mm drivers with a special mixed material for the diaphragm. They support LDAC and carry a Hi-Res Audio Wireless stamp, which means music should sound clearer than on many other budget earbuds.

The noise cancellation can cut down background noise by up to 49dB. When you make calls, six microphones work together with artificial intelligence to focus on your voice and block out other sounds around you.
Battery life is another strong point of the Edifier FitBuds Turbo. You get 9 hours of listening time from the earbuds alone. With the case, that goes up to 40 hours total. If you are in a hurry, plugging them in for 15 minutes gives you 2 hours of playback through the USB-C port.
These earbuds use Bluetooth 6.0 and can connect to two devices at once. There is also a game mode that lowers delay to 45 milliseconds. The phone app adds a few extras, including fake surround sound, live translation for 21 languages, and voice control.
The Edifier FitBuds Turbo went on sale in China on JD.com for CNY259 (~Php2,300). Pricing and availability in the Philippines are yet to be revealed.
