A new member of the budget-friendly HONOR X series is now official, and it has a mouthful of a name: the HONOR X70 Pro Max.
The HONOR X70 Pro Max inherits a similar design to other X series, like the HONOR X9d. There’s a distinct ring-shaped camera island on the back, which holds a single 50-megapixel camera, an unknown lens, and the LED flash.
On the front, there’s a packed 6.79-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution, high 120Hz refresh rate, and whopping 6,000-nit peak brightness.

So, what’s the “Max” branding for? Possibly the battery, as this one has an enormous 8,560mAh capacity. HONOR says it can last up to 14 hours of continuous gaming, 15 hours of video calls, and 27 hours of watching short videos. It can retain at least 80% of its battery health after 6 years.
HONOR partnered the big battery with a fast 90W charger. The device also has stereo speakers, extensive IP69K dust and water resistance, and ships with Android 16 based on MagicOS 10.
The HONOR X70 Pro Max is available in China for CNY1,999 (~Php17,800) and CNY2,399 (~Php21,400) for the 8GB/256GB and 8GB/512GB variants, respectively.
