AMD has launched the Radeon RX 9050 GPU. It’s fairly affordable, considering the shake-up in current tech pricing.

The AMD Radeon RX 9050 GPU is an AMD RDNA 4 GPU made for 1080p gameplay. It has 16 compute units, 8GB GDDR6 VRAM, a 1.9GHz base clock, up to a 2.60GHz boost clock, and 92W TBP.

It then has 16 ray accelerators, 32 AI accelerators, 32MB Infinity Cache Technology, up to 10Gbps memory speed, and uses a 128-bit memory interface with up to 288GB/s memory bandwidth.

For connectivity, it supports 2.1a DisplayPort and 2.1b HDMI. AMD claims it supports rendering formats of HDMI 4K, 4K H264 Decode, and 4K H264 Encode.

As per AMD, it can handle these games under 1080p Medium Settings:

  • 007: First Light: 60fps
  • Cyberpunk 2077: 96fps
  • Forza Horizon 6: 131fps
  • Pragmata: 85fps
  • Counter-Strike 2: 227fps
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 7: 116fps
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege: 206fps
  • Valorant (High Settings): 593fps

The AMD Radeon RX9050 will be available in select markets for USD279 (~Php17,000).
