HONOR unveiled MagicOS 11 at its 2026 Global Developer Conference, a new operating system built on top of Android 17.
MagicOS 11 has a glass-like design that HONOR calls Liquid Glass. And if that sounds familiar, it’s because it’s similar to Apple’s design used on the iPhones that was first introduced last year.

Animations are up to 20 percent faster than MagicOS 10. The update also adds new icons, menus, and widgets.

The Yoyo assistant now handles over 1,000 situations and works with more than 10,000 third-party AI services in China. The company claims that it can complete tasks with up to 100 steps. Yoyo remembers instructions and finds pickup codes, meal numbers, and trip reminders on its own.

The system also brings faster wireless charging, Storage Space 2.0 that frees up to 60GB, and better network picking in weak signal areas.
As expected, the new MagicOS 11 will first appear on the HONOR Magic9 series.
The Magic6 series, Magic V3, HONOR 400, HONOR 500 series can join the internal beta. More devices like the HONOR 600 will follow in the next few months.
