At long last, Meta smart glasses are officially coming to the Philippines.
Meta announced that it will be expanding the reach of its smart glasses to 10 new markets, which includes the Philippines. The rollout also includes neighboring countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Also included are Hong Kong, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa, Israel, and Portugal.
The products specified are Ray-Ban Meta glasses, Ray-Ban Meta Optics, and the Oakley Meta. Official launch date and pricing are yet to be announced.
Vision Express, a popular local eye care retailer, announced that it will be offering the Meta eyewear products soon.
For the unfamiliar, the Meta glasses are equipped with the Meta AI assistant, have built-in speakers for listening to music, microphones for calls, and probably its most popular feature: a built-in camera for capturing POV shots.
