Electronics giant Samsung has announced its first ever smartphone with Digital TV capabilities.
Filipinos love to watch TV. Teleseryes, noon time shows, news – you name it. Smartphones with DTV have been pretty successful in the past, but most of them are specifically built to be used that way. Samsung’s take on the DTV smartphone is different.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 DTV features a stunning 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display for maximum entertainment. It’s powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB RAM, and comes with 8GB of internal storage. Other features include an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel selfie shooter, LTE, and Android 5.1 Lollipop. This handset needs a power bank, though, as it only has 2000mAh of battery.
