Amazfit has brought a new smartwatch to the global market called the Amazfit Bip 5 Unity. It’s a cheaper alternative to the standard Bip 5.
In fact, the only key difference between the Amazfit Bip 5 Unity vs the Bip 5 is the GPS. This newer but cheaper model lacks the said feature. Still, you can record your workout routes as long as you have your smartphone with you.

Other than that, and the fact that the Unity is marginally thinner and lighter, everything stays the same. The Unity still has a stainless steel frame, which is available in three colors with matching straps: Pink, Charcoal, and Grey.
It also has a large 1.91-inch TFT display with 260 pixels per inch. The screen can show over 100 available watch faces, with more than 30 of them customizable.

The watch pairs to your phone through Bluetooth 5.2 via the Zepp app. It runs on the new Zepp OS 3.0 and offers more than 70 downloadable apps and games. Bluetooth calls are also possible thanks to the built-in microphone and speaker.
Like previous Amazfit watches, the Bip 5 Unity has built-in Alexa so you can do voice commands, dictations, and more.

For fitness junkies, the watch has over 120 sports modes, can auto-detect 6 workouts the moment you start them, and can share your activities to popular platforms like Apple Health, Google Health, Strava, and the Nike Run Club.
It also has 24-hour heart-rate monitoring, blood oxygen, and Stress and will provide Smart Alert if you have a high heart rate, low blood oxygen, or experiencing high stress levels. Sleep quality tracking is also here, as well as menstrual cycle tracking. All these workout and health tracking are made possible by the built-in BioTracker PPG biometric sensor and 3-axis acceleration sensor.

For the battery, the watch can last up to 5 days of heavy use, 11 days with typical use, and 26 days under Battery Saver Mode. Charging is done by the proprietary magnetic charger.
The Amazfit Bip 5 is available in the United States and United Kingdom for a price of USD59.99 (~Php3,400) and EUR69.99 (~Php4,300), respectively. Prices in markets like the Philippines are yet to be known.
