Amazfit announced a new fancy smartwatch made for professional runners or those who want a rugged wearable. Check out the new Amazfit Cheetah and Cheetah Pro.
First, let’s talk about the Amazfit Cheetah Pro, which is said to be meant for “elite runners who want to optimize their performance.”

It boasts a 1.45-inch Always-On AMOLED screen with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 1,000-nits peak brightness, and works with over 100 watch faces.
The Cheetah Pro has Titanium alloy bezels, while the middle frame is made out of fiber-reinforced polymer. It then has a sweat-friendly nylon strap with adjustable length.

It also has a physical button and a digital crown for easier control.
Now, if you’re wondering how it’s great for running, the Cheetah Pro comes with AI-powered Zepp Coach for personalized running plans depending on your goals.

The app will also feature Race Achievement Prediction, Virtual Pacer, and Truck Run Mode. It then has dual-band GPS for better workout route recording.
Of course, it also comes with sleep tracking, blood-oxygen level monitoring, stress monitoring, and heart-rate sensing. It can track more than 150 indoor and outdoor sports modes.

It works with Amazon Alexa and local music playback. It has 2.4GHz WiFi connectivity, and Bluetooth 5.3, and runs on Zepp OS 2.0. There’s a 440mAh battery that can last for up to 14 days. Plus, 5 ATM water resistance for protection.
The Amazfit Cheetah Pro has a price of USD299 (~Php16,600) in the United States.

Meanwhile, there’s the Amazfit Cheetah Round — we added “Round” because the vanilla model will also be available in a Square model.
That said, the Amazfit Cheetah is a toned-down version of the Pro, but is still definitely made for athletes.

It shares the same features as the Pro variant, with minor compromises to keep the price down. There’s the smaller 1.39-inch display, while the bezel is now made of fiber-reinforced polymer. There’s also the down-graded liquid silicone strap.
The vanilla was also stripped off of microphones and speakers for calls and music playback. WiFi connectivity is also gone.

Amazfit is selling the Cheetah Round for USD229 (~Php12,700). Both models are now available on the brand’s official website, Amazon, and AliExpress.
