Honor has unveiled a new gaming accessory for smartphones — the Honor Gamepad.
Announced at this year’s Gamescom 2019, the Honor snap-on gamepad is a controller that can be used for smartphone gaming. The device can be connected wirelessly using Bluetooth and it can be charged through a USB Type-C port. It has a built-in 4,000mAh battery and it also can help recharge a smartphone’s battery by simply connecting them using a Type-C cable.
The Honor snap-on gamepad includes customizable 4 D-pad buttons, joystick, shoulder button, and another extra button. It’s not yet clear if the accessory is going to work exclusively with Honor smartphones, but it’s adjustable size probably hints that it can be used with other brands as well.
Pricing and release date information of the Honor Gamepad are not available yet. We’re hoping that Honor Philippines will bring this new product in the country.
