Xiaomi recently held a big event in China and announced a whole bunch of new products including a few overshadowed ones, the Xiaomi Band 8, a gigantic 86-inch mini LED smart TV, and the Sound Move speaker.
Announced alongside the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and the Pad 6 series, the new Xiaomi Band 8 has a similar pill-shaped design with a 1.62-inch AMOLED screen that has a 490 x 192-pixel resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. It also has 600 nits of peak brightness with the Always-on Display (AOD) feature.

To make it exciting, the Band 8 can be paired with tons of strap options from Xiaomi themselves. They come in different materials such as metal, leather, and nylon fabric. You can also use it as a pendant or mount it to your shoes for better workout tracking.
Speaking of tracking, it has a heart-rate monitor, blood oxygen level tracking, and sleep quality and stress monitoring. To further improve activity tracking, the new Band 8 has an accelerometer.

For battery, the new Band 8 can last for up to 16 days of normal use, or 6 days with AOD enabled.
The Xiaomi Band 8 has a price of CNY249 (~Php2,000) in China while the NFC version retails for CNY299 (~Php2,400).

Next stop, we have the Xiaomi 86-inch mini LED smart TV that offers 4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and up to a whopping 2000 nits of peak brightness. The company also boasts a new image quality engine that they’ve developed themselves to optimize any content shown on the TV.
It then runs on Xiaomi MIUI TV software, has 70W speakers, 3x HDMI 2.1 ports, and is powered by a Cortex-A73 processor with Mali-G52 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage.

The new 86-inch Xiaomi Mini LED TV retails for CNY15,999 (~Php130,600).

Finally, we have the new Xiaomi Sound Move, which boasts a fancy aluminum build that’s also IP66 dust and water-resistant. It then uses touch-sensitive buttons for controls and for enabling digital assistants.
Audio is coming from the two 7.5W drivers and two passive radiators that were tuned by Harman Kardon. It pairs with your phone via Bluetooth 5.3 with LHDC codec support. As per Xiaomi, the large 4,159mAh battery can provide 21 hours of audio playback.

The Xiaomi Sound Move retails for CNY699 (~Php5,700) in China. Release details for all three devices in the Philippines and other markets are yet to be known.
