ASUS-Zenfone-3S-Max

ASUS is set to add another smartphone to its expansive Zenfone series on February 7 when it will hit India with the Zenfone 3S Max. The ASUS Zenfone 3S Max is a successor to the Zenfone 3 Max and it retains some of the features of its predecessor.

One prominent feature which the ASUS Zenfone 3S Max retains is the massive 5,000mAh battery for a long lasting uptime. The battery is perhaps, the biggest feature on the Zenfone 3S Max and it goes even beyond that, as the smartphone comes with support for reverse charging, making it a power bank on its own. The device also features a metal body crafted from aluminum and it also comes with a front fingerprint sensor embedded under the home button which ASUS claims is capable of unlocking the device in half a second and packs fingerprint recognition of up to five fingers.

The Zenfone 3S Max which comes with the model number ZC521TL, sports a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The display comes with a 2.5D curved glass and also has built-in bluelight filter. The smartphone is fired up by an octa-core 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 processor with a 3GB RAM providing some support. The phone also packs 32GB of storage space and the storage is expandable up to 2TB via microSD.

For the lovers of mobile photography, the phone packs a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P Largan les and Dual-tone LED flash. The rear camera comes with support for different modes like Super Resolution mode, Low-light mode, Panoramic mode, Backlight HDR mode, and Beautification mode – all geared towards better picture quality. The handset is also equipped with an 8MP front-facing camera. On the software end, it runs Android 7.0 Nougat-based ZenUI 3.0.

ASUS is yet to reveal the pricing and availability but more details about the Zenfone 3S Max should be out soon. We’ll update this post once we get information.
