It hasn’t even been a year since ASUS unveiled its Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro smartphones, but the Taiwanese company has already announced a new smartphone flagship duo for this year. The new Zenfone 8 is noted for being small, yet it comes packing with powerful specs. The other, the Zenfone 8 Flip, boasts a rotating triple camera.
With a display that only measures 5.9 inches, the ASUS Zenfone 8 claims to be the smallest flagship smartphone in 2021. The phone features a 120Hz refresh rate, a dual-camera system with a 64-megapixel main sensor, IP68 rating, and 4,000mAh battery.
Besides its signature rotating camera, the ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip has a 6.67-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate. It also has a 5000 mAh battery and up to 256GB storage. Both handsets come with Android 11 with ZenUI 8 and are powered by Qualcomm’s latest chipset, the Snapdragon 888.
The ASUS Zenfone 8 and 8 Flip are officially priced at 599 and 799 euros (approx. Php34,600 and Php46,150), respectively. ASUS has confirmed that they’ll be sold in the Philippines, but the local prices and launch date are currently unknown.
