ASUS recently announced the Zenfone Lite L1 in India. This is their latest attempt to play catch-up with Xiaomi’s Redmi-series, which are proven to be blockbuster hits on the said country.
As expected, the ASUS Zenfone Lite L1 will try to bring the best possible specs for the price — a reason behind Xiaomi’s success.
It flags a decent 5.45-inch HD+ screen, with the trendy 18:9 tall aspect ratio, but with noticeable bezels on all sides. And to really keep the price at the minimum, the Zenfone Lite L1 is wrapped on a plastic body and lacks a fingerprint scanner.
The important part here is the processor used. The ASUS Zenfone Lite L1 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor, with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. That’s a pretty neat combo for a device at this price point.
It may lack a fingerprint sensor, but it does have a face unlock feature, which is enabled by its 5-megapixel front-facing camera. There’s also a 13-megapixel primary on the back for some casual snaps.
Lastly, the ASUS Zenfone Lite L1 comes with a 3,000mAh battery to keep all of its hardware juiced-up.
