Cherry Mobile is following the trend and it’s now releasing a hip new color of its smartphone. Meet the new Cherry Mobile Flare S6 Red limited edition.
With this new color variant, Cherry Mobile aims to add more spice to the Flare S6 to make it more interesting. Besides being the color of Christmas, the Cherry Mobile Flare S6 in red is a rare sight in the company’s line-up.
The new Red model will join the slew of color options available for the Flare S6 like Black, Gold, Brown, and Blue.
The looks might be a bit different, but the hardware is still the same. The device still has a 5.2-inch HD screen, a MediaTek quad-core processor, and 2GB of RAM. It is also one of the first devices to have Cherry Mobile’s own Cherry OS interface, on top of Android 7.0 Nougat inside it.

There’s also a 13-megapixel BSI camera in the front and back, fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE connectivity, and USB Type-C port.

Since November 2017, Cherry Mobile was able to sell over 300,000 units from the Flare S6. It’s a remarkable feat, especially for a local brand. While most of their products are on the affordable side, the incredibly huge number of units sold is still very impressive.
