Cherry Mobile recently revealed its 2014 tablet pricelist, and along with it the introduction of upcoming tablets. The company’s most affordable offering starts with the Fusion Breeze 2 and Fusion Aura, both at Php2,299, followed by the Superion Radar at Php2,999.
As its name implies, the Fusion Breeze 2 is a sequel to the original Php1,999 tablet released only a few months ago. Improvements include the dual core processor, 4.4 KitKat, and 2MP main camera, up from a single core CPU, 4.2 Jelly Bean, and missing rear camera.
Cherry Mobile Fusion Breeze 2 Specs
- Android 4.4 KitKat
- 7-inch capacitive screen
- 1.5GHz dual core processor
- microSD support up to 32GB
- 2-megapixel main camera
- 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front camera
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Miracast
- USB On the Go
- 3.5mm Audio Jack
- Php2,299
A new addition to the Fusion tablet lineup is the Aura, though one may wonder why such a tablet with the same price and nearly identical specs as the Breeze 2 needs to be released. At least the design looks different and seems to be inspired by the faux leather pattern of the Note 3. It’s also worth noting that this is the only other KitKat tablet to be announced by Cherry Mobile so far.

Last but not least is the Cherry Mobile Superion Radar. At Php2,999, this is still pretty much an entry-level tablet with basic connectivity options.
