Together with the Cherry Mobile Omega HD Duo, the local smartphone company has also revealed the Cherry Mobile Omega Icon Lite 2 in their new product catalogue.
Right from the first glance of its spec sheet, it’s clear that the Cherry Mobile Omega Icon Lite 2 wasn’t built to impress people with its hardware. Instead, it’s focused on consumers who don’t need to much power and fancy features on a smartphone.
The Cherry Mobile Omega Icon Lite 2 has covered the basics and it’s very much prevalent in its 5-inch FWVGA+ screen which screams nothing but low-end. On the inside, it’s equipped with a MediaTek MT6580A and an old Mali-MP2 GPU. The RAM and storage are a measly 512MB and 8GB, respectively.
While this kind of hardware won’t win any awards in terms of speed, Google’s new Android Go operating promises enhanced optimization even on low-end smartphones.
