After a few recent releases, Cherry Mobile has just unveiled yet another android phone. This time, they have made it super thin measuring 7.7mm at its thickest point. Check out more details after the break.

The design of the Cherry Mobile Razor is really sleek thanks to its very thin body which is best among all locally branded smartphones in the market right now. Also, the poster from CM stated that this will be the most affordable android phone with the tough Dragontrail glass display, as seen on the original and CM Omega HD 2.0.

But it’s not all about the display and thinness of the handset, as the Cherry Mobile Razor also packs a quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. Particularly, it’s the same processor as the OHD 2.0 and MyPhone A919i—the MT6589 CPU. That also means that this device is HSPA+ capable so you can get fast mobile internet connection—but that depends on your network.

UPDATE: The official price of the Cherry Mobile Razor is Php6,499.

The overall configuration looks good though the 1750mAh is just average so expect it to be on the low side. Also, it’s non-removable so you can’t easily replace it with a new one if you decide to do so.

Cherry Mobile teased that it will be the cheapest smartphone with Dragontrail glass but they haven’t revealed the pricing yet. Instead, they will announce it on the 29th. The first generation OHD costs around Php7,999 so we’re probably looking at Php6,499 to Php7,499 here—make it less than that and we’ll be looking at another Flare day in the making.   5. hi po. really need help po. yung internal memory po kc ng phone ko is almost full pero yung sd card ko is hindi pa full madami pa syang spare na memory. but whenever i tried to download eh na kakacancel kasi insufficient memory daw po. how to fix this po? HELP PLEASEE!!!! or panu ko po ba sya iddownload strait to my sd card

    1. see mo yung mga apps na naka installed baka nasa phone lahat… move mo sa sd card… or root mo phone mo para maka gamit ka ng link2sd card helpful yang apps na yan…

  6. I think it’s pretty neat for a phone with a 6499 price tag. It’s quad core na and it’s looks really sleek. Not bad for a temporary phone. I’m thinking of buying one, mainly for texting and calling lang. I’ll probably use it to surf the net every once in a while. I’m not a big fan of playing games so if this phone lags in the middle of a game, I don’t really give a shiz. I just want a phone na JB and quad core na, looks really good pa. The problem is, I’ve read some reviews na may issue daw yung iba sa responsiveness nang phone. Now this is a big deal for me kasi it would be really annoying if I’m texting. And i found out na u can’t change the battery as well. Any problems sa battery nang CM razor,so far? I know it’s a relatively cheap phone and u tend to get what you paid for but it would be impractical to keep on buying phones kahit na puro sila mura. Any thoughts? Pls help out. Thanks. :)

    1. depende naman talga yan sa iyong pag-gamit sa phone ehh..

      first, dpat kung bibili, dun palang sa store, na-check mo na yung mga concerns mo.. it’s your right as a customer. :)

      sulit naman ang CM Razor, it’s doing perfectly well for me.
      the battery is doing well too. :)

      all smartphone’s have a problem with the battery juice…
      it’s a general issue.. “The Charger is your new bestfriend” as they say

  7. after 1 month bagsak na to to 6k and pag tumagal pa mas cheaper pa like the blaze na 5k nalng now but i got it at 6500 first release. badtrip naman ng batt deal breaker talaga ang cherry!

  9. Halos kapresyo ng CM Thunder 2.0 pero dragontrail glass na at 1GB ram, Well kung di afford ang OHD 2.0 (tulad ko) pwede na ito. Pero parang deal breaker ang battery.
