Fresh after the Omega HD 2X got leaked on Facebook, it appears that another Cherry Mobile phone has popped up on our radar. It appears that another image of the same flyer that got leaked shows even more yet-to-be-released phones. One of them is the Cherry Mobile Titan 2.0, which based on the naming scheme is a follow up to the immensely popular Titan of last year.
Of course, the Cherry Mobile Titan 2.0 comes with a number of spec improvements, such as a 5 inch HD OGS display, 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. There’s also an 12mp autofocus BSI camera and 5mp BSI front camera. Even the aesthetic appearance has even been upgraded, and dare I say it, but the Cherry Mobile Titan 2.0 is downright pretty with its Xperia-esque design.
Cherry Mobile Titan 2.0 Specs
- Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
- 5-inch HD 1280×720 pixel resolution OGS Display
- 1.2GHz quad-core processor
- 1GB RAM
- 4GB ROM
- 12-megapixel BSI main camera with flash
- 5-megapixel front camera
- WiFi, WiFi hotspot
- GPS, AGPS
- Cherry Mobile Hero: Sports a Quad Core CPU and 5″ Screen for Php5,499!
- Cherry Mobile W900 LTE: Snapdragon-powered smartphone with LTE connectivity for just Php11,499
It’s hard not to get excited about these new batch of phones as they’re much closer to premium and are being offered at price points that are considerably more affordable than anything the local brands are currently offering. Speaking of affordable, the Cherry Mobile Titan 2.0 will sell for Php8,999, which is the same price Omega HD 2.0. Both share similar screens and specs, but the cameras on the Titan 2.0 are definitely better. So now it has to be asked if Cherry Mobile will drop the price of the Omega HD 2.0 or just phase it out to make way for the Titan 2.0.
