Chuwi updated its HiPad Pro tablet with a more powerful processor.
Compared to the model launched last year, the Chuwi HiPad Pro 2022 model now comes with a more powerful MediaTek Helio G95, an upgrade from last gen’s Snapdragon 662. The chip is paired by a Mali-G76 MC3 GPU, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
The chipset brings 4G LTE mobile connectivity to the device, as well as dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0.
It still has a 10.8-inch IPS display, but now with a sharper 2.5K pixel resolution from FHD. Like its MiniBook X laptop, Chuwi sticks with a punch-hole for the 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, we only have a single 8-megapixel main shooter.
The large and sharp display is joined by 4 HiFi loudspeakers, which are said to offer 3D stereo.
It then comes with a 7,000mAh battery, a USB Type-C port for charging, but only comes with a 10W charger. It ships with Android 11 operating system and can be gotten with a wireless Bluetooth keyboard case and an H6 stylus powered by Wacom.
All this hardware are packed inside a body that has a total weight of only 455g and 7.5mm thick. It comes in two colors: Nterstellar Silver and Neptune Blue.
As of writing, the Chuwi HiPad Pro is listed at AliExpress for Php15,426.23 to Php18,511.69. The price varies depending on the bundle you get: tablet only, tablet with pen, tablet with keyboard, or tablet with both accessories. It ships directly from China.
