Energizer is known for being one of the most popular suppliers of Alkaline batteries. But recently, the company has been trying out making feature phones and smartphones.

The Energizer Power Max 600s is the latest product to come out from the brand, and it’s taking its roots to the smartphone game. The front of the device is reminiscent of the Galaxy S8’s rounded corners and edgy display. The back side is more unique thanks to its carbon fiber finish.

It will be available in black and blue colors, with the black getting the regular 3GB / 32GB version while the blue carries a more premium 4GB / 64GB configuration. In case the storage needs expansion, there’s support for micro SD cards as well.

Energizer Power Max 600s - Specs, Price

Energizer made sure that it’s not being left out of what’s new so the Power Max 600s got the 18:9 trend that’s making a buzz as of late. It also features a huge 5.99-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution. It’s powered by MediaTek’s Helio P25 chipset and it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

In terms of camera, the Energizer Power Max 600s there’s an 8-megapixel shooter with flash in front and a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel combo at the rear.

It can also recharge very quickly because it has fast-charging enabled on its USB Type-C port. When in standby mode, it can last for over 16 days. It only has a 4500mAh battery but it’s thick as a brick at 9.8mm.

Price is currently unknown but it will be available in the middle of January on select outlets.
