Gionee Marathon M3, the smartphone with a massive 5000mAh battery, is now available in the Philippines.

Announced back in November, the M3 has received numerous praises all over the internet for its large battery capacity and decent thickness (10.4mm). Today, the highly anticipated Gionee M3 has finally reached our shores.


The Gionee Marathon M3 features a 5-inch HD display which is just about right for its price point. A MT6582 quad-core processor powers the device and it comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

As for the main highlight of the phone, Gionee said that the 5000mAh can last for about 2 days on a typical usage. 2G talk time is around 51 hours while 3G is at 32 hours and 30 minutes. Overall, this thing is definitely built to last for a long time whatever usage you might want. Another interesting feature about the Gionee M3 is that it can charge your other devices just like a powerbank. Handy feature, right?

  1. Decent pricing as of late. Hopefully gionee continues to offer these types of devices at cheaper prices. Local brands will have a tough 2015 if chinese odms continues with this trend.
