HONOR has introduced a new device that is poised to be a flagship killer. Check out the HONOR 90 GT.
The HONOR 90 GT is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is still one of the most powerful chipsets in the market today. What’s more, you can pair it with up to 24GB of RAM — the most you can get on any HONOR smartphone. The top-tier model also has a generous 1TB of storage.
We have a fancy 6.7-inch AMOLED display on the front with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and a fingerprint scanner underneath. Audio is provided by the stereo speakers.
Keeping the lights on is the standard 5,000mAh battery and other flagship-killer feature, 100W fast charging.
On the back, we have a premium 50-megapixel IMX906 sensor from Sony, with optical image stabilization. It is joined by a no-nonsense 12-megapixel ultra-wide glass. A 16-megapixel sensor is on the front for selfies.
It then runs on Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2, but should be eligible to receive the Android 14 update once it is available.
The HONOR 90 GT has a starting price of CNY2,599 (~Php20,300) for the 12GB/256GB while the top-of-the-line model with a 24GB/1TB configuration retails for CNY3,699 (~Php28,800). It is now available in China while release details in the Philippines are yet to be known.
