Honor’s first flagship phone since its departure from Huawei has been released. Meet the Honor Magic 3 and 3 Pro, and yes, they will come with Google Mobile Services (GMS) out of the box.
As already hinted before, the Honor Magic 3 and 3 Pro will feature IMAX Enhanced cameras. The partnership will bring cinematic video recording on both devices with support for LOG format and 3D LUT color grading profiles — such features will give users more flexibility in editing.
As for the camera hardware, both models will have 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main shooter, with a dedicated 64-megapixel monochrome sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide.
What makes the Pro model special is the 64-megapixel telephoto lens that can do 3.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. It also has an 8×8 dTOF.
The Magic 3 and 3 Pro also share the same 6.76-inch curved OLED screen for the full flagship appeal. They both have a fast 120Hz refresh rate and 10-bit color. The Pro has a pill-shaped punch-hole for the 13-megapixel selfie snapper and 3D ToF depth sensor. The vanilla Magic 3 lacks the latter.
Both units will be powered by the current top dogs. Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus for the Pro and Snapdragon 888 for the non-Pro. They also share 4,600mAh batteries and 66W wired charging. Albeit, the Honor Magic 3 Pro gets to have 50W wireless charging.
The Honor Magic 3 has a price of EUR899 (around Php53,200), while the Magic 3 Pro is at EUR1,099 (around Php65,200).
