HONOR just held a big event in China and launched a couple of new hardware, which includes the MagicPad 13.
The new HONOR MagicPad 13 is not the company’s 13th MagicPad tablet. Instead, the name refers to the display size. It’s a 13-inch IPS panel with a 2880 x 1840 pixel resolution and a variable refresh rate that can go from 30Hz to 144Hz depending on the task at hand. It is also IMAX-Enhanced like the Magic V2.
This large display is paired with 8 speakers in a stereo setup and 4 microphones for better voice pick-up on video calls with the 9-megapixel selfie camera. A 13-megapixel shooter is on the back.
It is also HONOR‘s first tablet to be powered by MagicOS 7.2, which comes with work-focused apps like HONOR Docs and HONOR Notes.
Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor, which can be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
It’s compatible with HONOR Magic Pencil 3 with 4096 pleasure levels. Plus, it works with HONOR’s keyboard case. It then has a generous 10,050mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
The HONOR MagicPad 13 has a price of CNY2,999 (~Php22,800) for the 8GB/256GB, CNY3,299 (~Php25,00) for the 12GB/256GB, and CNY3,699 (~Php28,100) for the 16GB/512GB. The Magic Pencil 3 retails for CNY499 (~Php3,800) while the keyboard case comes in at CNY599 (~Php4,500). It will be available in China starting July 20 while release details in other markets are yet to be known.
