HONOR’s IFA 2024 presence is filled with global releases of already existing devices in China. This time, we’ll be taking a look at the HONOR MagicPad 2.
Like the Magic V3, the HONOR MagicPad 2 was introduced to the global stage with similar specs and features to the Chinese model. It still boasts a large 12.3-inch 3K OLED screen. Other than the sharp resolution, it has a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and IMAX Enhanced certification.
Audio comes out of the 8 stereo speakers. Plus, there’s a 9-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a 13-megapixel shooter on the back with an LED flash.
Keeping the lights on is a 10,050mAh non-removable battery with 66W wired charging and 5W reverse wired if you want to use the tablet as a power bank to juice up other devices.
Under the hood, it is powered by a beefy Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and ships with the latest MagicOS 8.0.1 with Android 14 on top.
The only difference between the Global and Chinese models is the variants available. In the UK, the MagicPad 2 Global is spotted with a single 12GB/256GB configuration, while the China variant is available in three RAM and storage options. The blue colorway is also not available for the rest of the world, so we’re only getting the white and black variants.
In the UK, the HONOR Magic Pad 2 has an SRP of EUR499.99 (~Php31,100), which will be discounted to only EUR449.99 (~Php29,900) with a voucher applied. You can also get it with a free HONOR Magic Pencil 3, Smart Bluetooth Keyboard, and 66W charging adapter.
