HONOR is at IFA 2024 introducing a couple of its latest hardware to the global stage. For today, we’ll be checking out its latest thin and light laptop, the HONOR MagicBook Art 14.
The HONOR MagicBook Art 14 has one cool trick up its sleeves. It has a magnetic camera that hides on the side of the device when not in use. You can then pull it out and attach it to the top of the device during video calls or conferencing.
What makes this design extra useful is that you can flip it 180-degrees so it can see what’s in front of you. It can be handy if you’re, say, an operator tasked to shoot a livesteam or an important company meeting.
Another key feature is its sleek and clean design with a frame made of aerospace-grade magnesium alloy. It has subtle curves all around that HONOR calls “vine-leaf curves”, comes in Emerald Green and Sunrise White colors, and a thin and light build that’s only 1cm and 1kg, respectively.
HONOR also claims that its OS Turbo 3.0 help it achieve outstanding battery life. Its 60Wh battery can apparently last for up to 11 hours of local video playback and 9.5 hours of daily office work.
Moreover, it has a fancy 14.6-inch 3K OLED touchscreen with a 3:2 aspect ratio, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, Delta E < 0.5 color accuracy, and 700-nits of peak brightness. Audio comes from the six speakers. Spatial audio is also supported and comes with DTS:X certification.
The MagicBook Art 14 runs on Windows 11 with Copilot Assistant. It also lets you pair, screen mirror, and seamlessly transfer files with HONOR phones and tablets.
It is available in two CPU options: Intel Core Ultra 5 125G and Ultra 7 155H, with Intel Arc graphics, 16GB/32GB of RAM, and 1TB of SSD storage. Connectivity includes a full-size HDMI, USB-A, one Thunderbolt 4, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3.
We already spotted the HONOR MagicBook Art 14 on HONOR Malaysia’s website, where the 16GB/1TB model retails for MYR5,999 (~Php77,400). Full pricing and availability details, especially in the Philippines, shall be revealed soon.
