Still looking for a tablet for school, your kids, or just a backup to your phone from watching content? You might want to consider HONOR Philippines’ latest budget tablet, the HONOR Pad X8a.
The new HONOR Pad X8a comes with a large 11-inch LCD screen with a decent 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, 400 nits of peak brightness, and the obligatory 90Hz refresh rate. HONOR highlights its E-book mode, Dynamic Dimming, and TUV Rheinland certifications for low blue light emission and for being flicker-free. It is also Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Wireless certified.

Powering the device is a 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor, with 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of expandable storage.
HONOR said that the 8,300mAh battery can last for up to 14 hours of online video playback, albeit the charging speed was not mentioned.

For the cameras, we have 5-megapixel sensors on the front and back. It will ship with the latest Android 14 operating system with MagicOS 8 on top.
HONOR boasted that the Pad X8a is only 7.25mm thin and weighs just 395g — all thanks to its all-metal unibody design.

The HONOR Pad X8a has an SRP of Php7,999. But, as an early-bird offering, you can get it at only Php6,999 on Shopee from October 2 to 9, 2024.
