The HONOR Play series was one of the game-changers in the midrange category. Recently, the line got two new members for 2023: the HONOR Play 7T and 7T Pro.
Both the HONOR Play 7T and 7T Pro are powered with MediaTek Dimensity 6020 octa-core processors. The duo also shares the same 50-megapixel main camera with a 2-megapixel depth sensor, 90Hz refresh rates, and Android 12-based Magic UI 6.1 interface.
Now, for their differences. Being the cheaper option, the vanilla Play 7T only comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS display while its bigger brother comes with a 6.7-inch IPS screen at FHD+ and a cleaner punch-hole for the selfie camera.
The Play 7T boasts a large 6,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. Meanwhile, the 7T Pro only has a smaller 4,000mAh battery but does get a much faster 40W charging from HONOR.
Those who are in China can get the HONOR Play 7T in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants for prices of CNY1,099 (~Php8,700) and CNY1,299 (~Php10,300), respectively. Meanwhile, the HONOR Play 7T Pro has the same configurations for a price of CNY1,499 (~Php11,800) and CNY1,699 (~Php13,400), respectively. Sales start on April 6.
