HONOR has introduced a new entry-level smartphone for the global market, the HONOR X5 Plus.
The new HONOR X5 Plus boasts a 5,200mAh battery, which is marginally bigger than the usual 5,000mAh capacity we see in most phones today. The company claims it can provide “full power from dawn to dusk” with up to 17.8 hours of online video playback. Albeit charging is relatively slow at 10W.

It also comes with a sharp 50-megapixel main camera with a bright f/1.8 aperture joined by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. No ultra-wide.
On the front, we have a 6.56-inch display with Dynamic Dimming technology that changes in color depending on the time of day to lessen eye fatigue. It only has an HD+ resolution but does have a high 90Hz refresh rate. There’s only a 5-megapixel camera on top.

HONOR also threw in a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for fast and easy access. It then ships with the latest Android 13-based MagicOS 7.1.
Powering everything is an entry-level MediaTek Helio G36 octa-core processor, with 4GB of RAM and a relatively small 64GB of storage.

The official price of the new HONOR X5 Plus is yet to be announced, so stay tuned for that.
