HONOR has introduced a new line of budget phones and it starts with the new HONOR X6b.
An even cheaper alternative to the X7b and X8b series, the new HONOR X6b is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor, with two RAM options: 4GB and 6GB; and two storage variants: 128GB and 256GB.

On the front, we have a 6.56-inch IPS screen with only an HD+ resolution and a high 90Hz refresh rate. There’s a punch-hole on top that works with HONOR‘s Magic Capsule feature, similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island.
That punch-hole is for the 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, we have a camera layout identical to the X8b series. It has a 2×2 layout for the 50-megapixel main shooter and 2-megapixel depth sensor. The other two are just for the LED flash and a placeholder.

One key highlight here is the 5,200mAh battery, which is slightly larger than the usual 5,000mAh capacity we see on other devices. It is paired with 35W charging.
Of course, it will ship with HONOR’s latest Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0. The device also received a 5-star rating from SGS for being drop-resistant.

The official price and availability of the HONOR X6b is yet to be known. But, make sure you stay tuned, as devices like this from HONOR tend to arrive here in the Philippines.
