HONOR Philippines just held a special event where it launched two new devices, which include the HONOR X8b.
The midrange HONOR X8b arrives alongside the Magic V2, which is the thinnest foldable phone currently out on the market. Like the latter, the X8b also comes with a fancy design with a unique, leather-like texture at the back.
Both phones are impressively thin. The X8b is only 6.8mm, which is noticeably thinner than the average 8.5mm on most phones. It is also very light at only 166g.
On the front, we have a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a pill-shaped punch hole for the selfie camera and front-facing flash. HONOR‘s Magic Capsule is a feature that shows animations around the punch-hole.
To accommodate the thin build, the X8b has a relatively small 4,500mAh battery, paired with a 35W charging.
Some of its best features are the ultra-sharp 108-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel selfie snapper, and a very generous 512GB of storage. It is powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor which, sadly, lacks 5G connectivity.
