The Huawei Ascend GX1 is an extra-large handset that has just been launched.
For now it is only available for purchase online in China, from the official Huawei store, but it does seem likely that Huawei plans to release this new Android handset internationally very soon.
The cost of buying a Huawei Ascend GX1 in China is 1590 yuan, which is equivalent to about $255 in US dollars. At present the handset appears to be available only in a white version, but it is the screen size, super thin bezels, and other specifications that make this handset look quite exciting.
The six-inch screen takes up 80.5% of the handset, which hasbody measurements of161mm x 84.5mm x 9.2mm. The battery is quite large at 3,500mAh, and the whole thing weighs 173 grams.
The Huawei Ascend GX1 has a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM, with 8GB for internal storage. It also has dual SIM capabilities, microSD card slot, 2MP front-facing camera and an 8MP back camera that comes with LED flash.
