After launching the Pro and Pocket models back in February, Huawei has finally brought the vanilla Huawei P50 to the Philippines.
The Huawei P50, which made its first debut alongside the Pro model almost a year ago, boasts a couple of high-end specs and features, especially in the camera department.
Like its predecessors, the main highlight here is the shooters on the back. The main one is a 50-megapixel sensor with OIS and omnidirectional PDAF. It is joined by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 12-megapixel sensor that sits on an OIS, behind a periscope-style lens that can do up to 5x of optical zoom.
On the front, we have a 13-megapixel selfie snapper that sits on top of a flat 6.5-inch OLED screen that has a high 90Hz refresh rate and 300Hz of touch sampling in games.
Since it came out last year, it is still powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Despite its 5G prowess, the chipset we have here is capped at 4G LTE connectivity. It does have a generous 256GB of storage, 8GB of RAM, and a powerful Adreno 660 GPU to handle games.
Due to its thin and fancy build, Huawei only managed to cram a 4,100mAh battery. Thankfully, charging should be really fast since it boasts a whopping 66W wired charging technology and 50W wireless charging support.
