Realme has just announced a few number of smartphones that will get three major Android OS updates.
As of writing, the company’s latest software version for its mobile devices is the Realme UI 3.0, which is based on the new Android 12 operating system. Chances are, your new smartphone already comes with it out of the box when you bought it, or, it is already available for you to download.

More than the current version, Realme expressed that they are always hard at work to improve the user experience to improve their devices’ features and functionality.
That said, Realme announced a few number of devices that will receive three major Android OS updates and four years of security patches. The list is noticeably short as of now, but more devices should be added soon.
Realme phones to get three years of major updates
- Realme GT 2
- Realme GT 2 Pro
Obviously, the Realme GT 2 series are the only ones on the list, being the company’s latest flagship releases.
Speaking of flagships, we also expect Realme’s other high-end devices to make it on the list. There’s the GT Neo 3, Neo 2, and others. Realme’s latest midrange phones like the Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro Plus might also make it to the list. We’ll update this list once we hear more from Realme.
