One of Infinix’s most popular, gaming-centric budget phones has gotten a successor: the Infinix GT 30 Pro.
The Infinix GT 30 Pro still has a mecha-inspired look but graduates from its predecessor’s designs. This one looks cleaner and drastically curvier, which should result in better comfort when using the device.
An important upgrade is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor from the GT 20 Pro‘s Dimensity 8200 Ultimate. It can be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The 6.78-inch AMOLED display is slightly sharper at 2720 x 1224 pixels, brighter at 4,500-nits, and is now protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. We also have the fingerprint scanner underneath the display.
There’s the 108-megapixel main camera on the back, which is now paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens instead of two 2-megapixel shooters. Sadly, the selfie camera has been downgraded to 13-megapixels.
Keeping the lights on is a bigger 5,200mAh battery, with 45W wired charging, and now with support for 30W wireless charging.
It also supports the new MagSafe Cooler accessory that improves cooling by 30%. For an even better gaming experience, the GT 30 Pro now has shoulder triggers for shooter games.
Infinix also made it IP64 dust and water resistant and will sport DeepSeek R1 for AI tasks.
The Infinix GT 30 Pro is now listed in Malaysia for a price of MYR1,299 (~Php16,900) for the 12GB/256GB and MYR1,499 (~Php19,500) for the 12GB/512GB. Release details in the Philippines should be revealed soon, so stay tuned for that.
