Infinix has introduced a new entry-level phone, the Infinix HOT 50i, and it’s now available in the Philippines
The Infinix HOT 50i looks pretty packed for a smartphone that’s under Php6,000. For starters, it has a sharp 48-megapixel main camera on the back joined by an unknown auxiliary lens (possibly a depth sensor), and an 8-megapixel selfie snapper on the front.
What’s more, it is powered by the new MediaTek Helio G81 processor, with a generous 256GB of storage, and 4GB of RAM. It also has the Infinix AI suite with features like Text Generator, Text Optimizer, and Grammar Checker. Infinix also used AI to improve its Folax assistant.
Infinix also highlighted that the HOT 50i received a TUV SUD 48-month fluency certification thanks to advanced memory optimization. As per the company, it makes the phone “smooth and responsive, even after years of use.”
What’s more, it has a large 6.7-inch HD+ IPS display, with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a Dynamic Bar feature for the punch-hole cutout. It also has dual speakers with 300% Ultra Volume mode.
Infinix also highlighted the device’s IP54 dust and splashproof rating, a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging, NFC for cashless payments, and an extra bright LED flashlight with a beam that can reach up to 5 meters.
The Infinix HOT 50i 4GB/256GB is listed in Shopee Philippines with an SRP of Php5,699, but as of writing, it’s discounted to Php5,265.
