Infinix finally joined in and introduced its first tablet, the Infinix Xpad.

As expected, the Infinix Xpad is geared towards the budget market. It is powered by the trusty MediaTek Helio G99 processor, a chipset we’ve seen in a bunch of affordable mobile devices since MediaTek released it in May 2022. It may not be the most interesting chip today, but Infinix gives you a chance to use its cellular function by offering an LTE version.

For the screen, we have an 11-inch IPS panel with a decent 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and a high 90Hz refresh rate. The bezels are quite thick, hence the 83% screen-to-body ratio.

Keeping the lights on is a relatively small 7,000mAh battery. But, Infinix does highlight that the 18W can charge it to 50% in just 40 minutes.

It then has two 8-megapixel cameras: one in the front, and one in the back. Audio is provided by the four speakers in a stereo setup. Of course, it will feature AI features from Infinix’s Folax technology, an assistant powered by ChatGPT.

The Xpad comes in three colors: Titan Gold, Frost Blue, and Stellar Grey — all with a metal unibody design.
