There’s no denying that most people use their front cameras more often than those on the rear. So, Infinix made the new Zero 30 5G a selfie-centric smartphone, which they announced in Venice, Italy where the Venice International Film Festival is currently taking place.
The new Infinix Zero 30 5G comes with a whopping 50-megapixel selfie camera that’s capable of 4K video recording — perfect for vloggers out there. It is also equipped with its own LED flash.
On the back, we have an equally impressive set of camera hardware. There’s a sharp 108-megapixel ISOCELL HM6 sensor from Samsung that’s 1/1.67-inch in size, has OIS, 6-element lens, and f/1.65 aperture, and PDAF.
It is joined by a relatively sharp 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There’s a ring flash with four LEDs that Infinix calls the Aura Light.
Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 octa-core processor, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which is unfortunately non-expandable.
We also have a fancy 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen on the front with FHD+ resolution, a high 144Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz touch sampling.
A 5,000mAh battery keeps the lights on, paired with a fast 68W USB-C charger.
It will ship with the current Android 13 OS version with XOS 13 on top. As a cherry on top, Infinix threw in an under-display fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers.
The Infinix Zero 30 5G has a starting price of INR24,999 (~Php17,200) with India being the first market to get it. Availability details, including in the Philippines, shall be announced soon.
