Infinix has announced its first entry into the foldable phone market with the launch of the Infinix Zero Flip. This new device by the Transsion brand adopts a clamshell design, drawing comparisons to the recently introduced TECNO Phantom V Flip2.
The Infinix Zero Flip features a 6.9-inch main FHD+ LTPO AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 1,400 nits. Complementing the main screen is a 3.64-inch 120Hz AMOLED cover display with a resolution of 1056 x 1066 pixels, and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 for protection to scratches.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the dual cameras placed inside the cover screen. The setup includes a 50-megapixel GN5 main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor. In addition, there’s a 50-megapixel selfie camera is embedded within the punch-hole cutout on the main screen. All three cameras are also capable of shooting 4K video.

Another notable feature is Infinix Zero Flip’s seamless integration with GoPro cameras, allowing users to utilize the Zero Flip’s screen as a viewfinder.
Weighing in at 195 grams, the Zero Flip measures 16mm in thickness when folded and slims down to 7.6mm when unfolded. A zero-gap hinge also enables it to close completely flat without any issues. This hinge supports various angles ranging from 30 to 150 degrees, enabling the phone to be propped up on flat surfaces, effectively doubling as a tripod.
Under the hood, the Infinix Zero Flip is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. On the software front, it runs XOS 14.5 based on Android 14. Infinix also committed to provide two Android upgrades (up to Android 16) and three years of security updates.

The Infinix Zero Flip is equipped with a 4,720mAh battery that supports 70W fast charging. No mention of wireless charging, but that’s probably too much to ask for the price.
The Infinix Zero Flip is available in two color options: Blossom Glow and Rock Black. Priced at NGN 1,065,000 in Nigeria, which is approximately (~Php35,800), the device is expected to roll out to additional markets in the coming months.
