Itel has finally brought the highly-anticipated Itel S23 Plus in the Philippines, an entry-level device that taunts high-end specs.
The most interesting feature of the Itel S23 Plus is its large 6.78-inch display, which uses a fancy AMOLED panel, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and is even curved for a more premium feel. It even has a software feature that imitates the Dynamic Island on newer iPhones.
Since it’s an AMOLED panel, it also managed to get an in-display fingerprint scanner and not the boring side-mounted one that other devices in this segment have.
It also impresses on the camera department with its sharp 50-megapixel main camera and a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies.
But since it’s still a budget device, the S23 Plus only has a UNISOC T616 octa-core processor. However, it does come with a generous 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
There’s the standard 5,000mAh battery to power things up, paired with an 18W charger.
The Itel S23 has an SRP of Php7,499 in the Philippines. You can get it for as low as Php5,699 with different promos and vouchers from Shopee starting October 5 to 10. You’d also get a free N75 Bluetooth headset or an ISW-31 smartwatch.
