Lenovo’s Legion brand is known for its gaming PCs and accessories. They also make tablets centered on playing mobile games, like the all-new Legion Y700 2023.
The Lenovo Legion Y700 2023 comes with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, mated to either 12GB or 16GB of fast LPDDR5X memory and 256GB or 512GB of storage. Software is handled by the Android 13-based ZUI 15.0.

There’s a compact and speedy 8.8-inch FHD+ LCD display on the front with a high 144Hz refresh rate. An 8-megapixel selfie camera can be found on top for selfies, and dual rear cameras led by a 13-megapixel sensor.
It’s equipped with a relatively small 6,550mAh battery, the same as last year’s model. It charges via the included 45W adapter.

One of the key highlights of the new Legion Y700 is its dual USB-C ports. There’s one on the side and one at the bottom. This lets you plug, say, a charger and a flash drive simultaneously, without the need for a USB hub.
The best part is, the 2023 model is thinner at 7.6mm (from 7.9mm) and lighter at 348g (from 375g). It still has a robust all-metal frame that’s been CNC-processed for a better and more comfortable grip.

Launched in China, the Lenovo Legion Y700 2023 has a price of CNY2,399 (~Php18,200) for the 12GB/256GB model, CNY2,599 (~Php19,800) for the 12GB/512GB, and CNY2,799 (~Php21,300) for the 16GB/512GB. No word yet if it will be available in the international market.
