Meizu 20, 20 Pro, 20 Infinity goes official

After being acquired by Geely, Meizu has announced its latest flagship line, the Meizu 20 series which consist of the Meizu 20 Pro, 20 Infinity, and the vanilla Meizu 20.

First, we have the Meizu 20 Pro, which features a 6.821-inch LTPO OLED display with a 3192 x 1368 pixel resolution, and 1Hz-120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the Meizu 20 Infinity is essentially the same only slightly smaller at 6.79 inches with thinner 2.48mm bezels.

On the other hand, the Meizu 20 gets a much smaller 6.55-inch OLED panel with a lower FHD+ resolution but a much faster 144Hz refresh rate. All three of them will have 32-megapixel selfie cameras and ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanners.

Around the back, the 20 Pro has three 50-megapixel sensors for the main shooter, ultra-wide, and telephoto lens. The Infinity is also similar, albeit the ultra-wide and telephoto get downgraded to 12-megapixel sensors, while the vanilla Meizu 20 gets a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 sensor, 16-megapixel ultra-wide, and 5-megapixel depth sensor.

For the batteries, the Pro model will have a 5,000mAh capacity with 80W and 50W wired and wireless charging support, respectively. The Meizu 20 Infinity has a 4,800mAh at 65W wired and the same 50W wireless charging capabilities, while the vanilla Meizu 20 has a smaller 4,700mAh battery with only 67W wired charging.

The trio will feature the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship processor with fast LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. They will also come with the latest Flyme 10 operating system.

Those who are in China can get the Meizu 20 Pro in 12GB/128GB and 12GB/512GB configurations for CNY3,999 (~Php31,600) and CNY4,799 (~Php37,900), respectively. The Meizu 20 Infinity begins with the 12GB/256GB configuration for CNY6,299 (~Php49,800), while the Meizu 20 starts at CNY2,999 (~Php23,700) for the 12GB/128GB base model. Sales start on April 3.
