Most Motorola phones run on stock Android, which should’ve mean that they will instantly receive updates straight from Google once they are available. But that doesn’t seem to be the case as the company is now just revealing the phones that will receive the current Android 14 operating system.
Being stock Android, you can expect the same standard features from Android 14 to arrive on the listed Motorola devices. That includes more customization for the lock screen, better battery life, improved security, and enhanced data protection.

Those are just some of the features you can expect from the new update. But, while the list of eligible devices is already up, the timeline of the rollout was not mentioned as the company’s website only mentioned if a particular device is getting the update or not.
Still, this is good news for select Motorola owners. Plus, kudos to the company for also including some of its affordable Moto G series devices, as well as a few old Edge 30 series, while the inclusion of the Razr foldable phones was expected.
