MyPhone surprised everybody with the affordable pricing of the MyPhone Rio, one of their newest smartphones which was showcased in an event almost a month ago together MyPhone Infinity and Ocean Elite.

MyPhone Rio is a very capable android phone that can easily run almost all the games and apps that you want, thanks to its powerful Mediatek MT6582M processor and decent 1GB of RAM. It also has the typical goodies such as 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 4GB of storage (expandable), and USB OTG capabilities. Probably the best feature of the device is it’s high definition display which is a sweet deal for the really low price.

  1. Just wondering, hindi ba talaga maiuupdate ang rio sa kitkat and the upcoming Android L? Nakakahinayang kasi kung hindi. I know that there are unofficial updates out there pero hindi ba magkakaroon ng official?

  3. Mas maganda at maliwanag yung cam ng myphone rio kumpara sa starmobile up. Ang problema lang sa rio eh madali mapuno ang phone memory sa mga apps. Dapat sana eh hati sila ng sd card sa mga apps. Konti lang naitutulong ng app 2 sd. Insufficient memory na agad ang sinasabi dahil napupuno agad ang phone memory eh yung sd card ko 97% pa available. So tingin ko yun talaga ang problema sa rio.

    1. Check mo sa settings mo. Rio din gamit ko and hindi pa napupuno kahit mahilig ako magdownload ng games and apps. Punta ka settings>storage then check mo sd card sa default write disk. Piliin mo din sa preferred storage na sd card.
      Then dun sa mga dating nainstall na, punta ka settings>apps then move to sd card mo mga games and apps mo. Hope this helps :)

    1. Just be careful lang ate.. Using different battery in different model of cellphone is dangerous same din pag ibang charger. Isa kasi to sa mga dahilan naoovercharge ang phone posibleng mangyari mablotted ang battery, overheating o biglang sabog na lang nung phone mu. Iba iba kasi yung voltage capacity ng model ng battery same din yung voltage capacity na kinukunsumo ng phone.

  5. ganda nga nang rio kase new version ang nabili ko. honestly nag research muna aku bagu bumili o pumili alin sa cm spectrum, starmobile up o rio? ayun rio ang napili ko kase ganda talaga nang cam nya. wag napo kayung magdadalawang isip galing nang my phone agua rio. god bless….

  8. hi po, i’ve got myphone rio at nag check din ako ng specs niya online and nkalagay na 4GB yung internal memory niya pero nung tiningnan ko na sa device mismo 2GB lng ang internal memory niya, ba’t po ganun?

  10. nako mas maganda pa ata ang cloudfone 502q dyan kasi kahit 196 ppi lang mas vivid ang colors kasi OGS kumpara sa RIO at kahit 1800mAh lang ang 502q mas matagal ma lowbat ang 502q keysa RIO na 2000 mAH (just watch this video for more INFORMATION

      1. kakabili ko lang ng cloudphone mas maganda pa nga talaga ang design niya keysa MP RIO mukhang china phone sa divisoria ahahaha XD buti nalang na diskobre koto wag na kayo mag taka na hindi sinasali ng big 3 company (GLOBE,SMART,SUN) ang MP kasi substandard ang kanilang mga materyales at ang pangit pa ng design

        2. As far i know MyPhone service center ay sa SONY din.. plus marami kang mapagpipiliang legitimate service center ng unit ng MyPhone. Naka include din sa plan ng Globe yung MyPhone RIO.. isip-isip ka muna bago ka magpost nang walang kuwentang comment.. Im not a fan of MyPhone but because of some reviews i read about this model kaya naengganyo ako bumili and after 2 months of using it never akong nagkaroon ng issue.. Over all performance was a satisfaction. I tried to download HD games dito sa unit; Asphalt 8, Real Racing 3, Dungeon Hunter 3 tsaka Iron Knights all those games runs smoothly dito sa unit tinalo pa yung HTC One XL ko.

          1. I’d have to agree with you. I even put emulators for nds, gba, psp and psx and it runs smoothly. I definitely recommend this lalo na sa mga mahilig maglaro.

        1. excuse me :) yes high/ low capacity yung battery, have you check the wattage of the device? not indicated di ba? but alam ko na masmalaki makaconsume ng battery yung rio kc malaki screen at quad core processor..
