While the star of the show was the MyPhone Infinity, the pioneer local brand still had a few other tricks up its sleeve. One of them was the MyPhone Ocean Elite, a super slim smartphone with a premium design that would even give the Infinity a run for its money!

While the MyPhone Ocean Elite is a step lower when it comes to specs, it’s still offers many premium specs encased in a gorgeous-looking frame. It doesn’t make use of a glass finish like the Infinity, but its plastic backing features the same crystalline pattern, giving it a similarly premium look. In fact, it actually looks better in some cases because smudging isn’t as obvious, giving it a cleaner appearance more of the time.

The Ocean Elite features a 5 inch HD IPS display, 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582 processor, 1GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. While the MT6582 is not an octa core chip, it’s still a considerable upgrade versus the MT6589 that was used on last year’s local quad core flagship phones. The Antutu has it benchmarked at 17,084, which is close to the same performance as the Galaxy S3.

So far, pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but no doubt it will retail for less than the Infinity. Like the Infinity, the MyPhone Ocean Elite will make its debut on retailer shelves starting around late March to early April.

  1. I owned a Phone like this but it will be better if they will upgrade it into Kitkat or Lollipop soon. Hopefully, before the year ends. And last request, It will be good if they will make their own music player theme. Since i love listening music, I’m sick and tired of seeing the same super plain music player theme. It will be a big factor for us. Advance thank you so much.
