nubia took wraps off of its latest, killer flagship phone, the Z60 Ultra.
The nubia Z60 Ultra is powered by — you guessed it — a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which you can pair with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with up to a 16GB/1TB configuration. For cooling, it has a large vapor chamber with superconducting nanocarbon fiber and aerospace-grade thermal plate.
On the front, we have a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a high 120Hz refresh rate, 1200Hz touch sampling, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. We also have the 12-megapixel under-display camera on top that has its own display chip and AI deep-sensing engine.
The highlight here is seen on the back. We have a large 50-megapixel 1/1.49-inch IMX800 sensor with an f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilization. It is joined by a 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch sensor with an 18mm ultra-wide lens. Finally, there’s a 64-megapixel 1/2.0-inch sensor with an 85mmm telephoto glass.
nubia also threw in a relatively large 6,000mAh battery, paired with a decent 80W charger.
Of course, it will ship with the latest Android 14-based MyOS interface.
The nubia Z60 Ultra has a price of USD599 (~Php33,300) for 8GB/256GB, USD649 (~Php36,100) for 12GB/256GB, and USD779 (~Php43,300) for 16GB/512GB. It will be available in Europe, the UK, North America, and Mexico. Release details in the Philippines are yet to be announced.
