Were you surprised when Xiaomi announced HyperOS? Are you worried that your MIUI-powered device will be left behind? Don’t worry, as the Chinese tech giant confirmed that it is also coming to other Xiaomi and Redmi devices.

Starting the all-new Xiaomi 14 series, the Xiaomi HyperOS will replace MIUI on select Xiaomi devices. Still based on Android working with the Xiaomi Vela system, the goal is to unify an ecosystem of products that includes wearables, smart home tech, vehicles, and more.

Of course, the update is expected to bring better power and performance efficiency thanks to efficient task handling, lower storage requirements for the OS, and better integration on different screen sizes: from wearables to TVs and projectors.
